What sort of editing do you want to be able to do? Does "everything" (that you've tried) include software like Photoshop? Personally, I use the free IrfanView for viewing, creating slideshows, and various editing functions such as: - cropping - adjusting light levels (brightness/contrast/gamma, with gamma adjustment the most effective for bringing out the details of a dark image) - colour balance adjustment (useful for dealing with scanned-in faded photos) - increasing sharpness - red eye reduction on flash photos - adding captions It doesn't have the range of features of, say, Photoshop, but it suits my needs and I find it easy to use. irfanview.com |
