That sounds like more than a minor problem, perhaps a major cable fault. A few years ago someone was cutting all the cables in an area, waiting for the business alarm monitoring companies and police to decide they could do no more, then really breaking into the buildings within the area. BT then had to reconnect all the local services, perhaps with new cables, which could take a few days. |
