| See if you can find a company that does "black box"insurance.They fit a bit of kit in your car that records your driving, excess speed, sharp braking etc.These companies are usually 25% cheaper but many of them have age restrictions.Failing that, try Hastings Direct.A couple of my friends are insured with them and found them to be cheapest.My car is not insured with them but when I was looking for insurance for my Harley Davidson, every company quoted over £1k (one company even quoted me £72000 although they would kindly let me pay it at £7000 per month)very decent of them I thought.Hastings Direct quoted £176.It's insured with them |
