A friend at work sold his (Wandsworth) flat himself (would need to ask which website he used). His experience was a successful one (ie. he sold it) but he said that you need to be very flexible (buyers always wanted to see when he didn't want to show) and there's a fair bit of chasing to be done in terms of solicitors etc. He saved something like £7,500 which is no mean feat. Guess it depends on whether you've got the time to manage it yourself. If it was easy everybody would do it I guess. |
