There are indeed other factors the current freeholder bought out the previous tenant. Then submitted 2 planning applications for 8 flats both applications were withdrawn There has been minimal marketing yet they have had over 49 applications (according to last 2014 planning submission) probably many many more by now but raise the asking price any time anyone shows interest whether to rent or buy freehold This is usual practice from a freeholder who wants to change licensed premises into residential The kiosk has no utilities, no water or power (a glaring mistake by the original developers) when the square gets relaid this will be resolved and the Pier Trust / RNLI will make use of it |
