your all barking up the rong l'arbre.. A nob is old English for the bonce and a whack on it.. thieves would 'nob' their victim before robbing them.. it then got used to denigrate members of the upper classes.. ie those who lived on 'Nob Hill' lots of nobs on here and doris nobs too |
