I have been going to Joy King Lau for over 30 years. Don't judge by the decor. It's on 3 floors and is always packed, often with some of the local Chinese! I was first taken there by two business colleagues in 1983 on a trip from Taiwan. It has one of THE largest menus I have ever seen in any restaurant and all at very modest prices. If you intend to make an evening of it, ask to be seated upstairs where it is much quieter - the ground floor is hectic! |
