There's nothing wrong with laminate and I was impreseed when I saw some of the samples in Carpetright but if it scuffs it looks bad but then so does wood. The other myth about resanding wood is that it's not cheap to resandand so you might as well buy the wood again if resanding abnd finishing costs in excess of £20 psm. I will definitely look into the pine option thanks especially since I really enjoyed the 70's ! |
