I have laminate but my brother has huge amounts of natural pine tongue and groove flooring all over the house. The kitchen part has been down for 10 years and looks the same as when it was first put down. He has laid it straight on top of the floorboards stained and varnished about 5 times and is very hard wearing. The flooring is nailed to the floorboards and a little wood filler in the small holes before staining and varnishing. No idea how much pine tongue and groove is but so easy to lay yourself. |
