I cannot understand the 'so whar?' responses to Carl's original post. Given that the taxi was picking up from a hospital in the first place, and given that the passenger was carrying a suitcase which he was struggling with, how much of a stretch would it have been for the driver to have worked out that he was picking up a discharged patient who obviously needed help? Or at least more careful driving? Carl, do you have a number for the taxi company involved? We coould all then avoid using it. |
