| Philippa, the Toshiba units don't make a lot of noise.If you put the unit in the hall before the outside temperature gets too hot.Then open all the doors to rooms you are going to use, the unit will keep the ambient temperature in all these rooms down.When the outside temperature was reading 93º yesterday, indoors the rooms were all around 70º.I turned it on again this morning thinking it was going to be like yesterday, but switched it off again when it got too cold. |
