We can roll eyes in a 'told you so' kind of way about the consequences of forcing so many varied economies together under one umbrella currency, bank and fiscal limitations. However, now that the euro and its associated structures & dependencies exist - it will be one enormous shit-storm if it all unravels. And, if I've grasped much of the thinking about the impact of a greek exit, we are foolish to assume that this euro-financial mess won't also affect the UK. So bad it almost seems sensible for the UK to chuck Greece a few billion to help tide them over as this will be cheaper than the negative impact of a collapsing euro. But imagine Cameron suggesting that to his party?
