If UEFA don't walk - it is thought at least a third of their members supported Blatter - then where do they go? Greg Dyke has said there's just no point in the English FA walking out on their own, but there was an interesting piece about this yesterday. Maybe on our own we won't be missed, maybe the World Cup goes ahead, but should we consider the moral argument and set an example? Dyke says clubs and fans won't thank the FA if they take a hike alone, how does he know that? And if the English FA has the guts to say we're off, that could well have a domino effect on some of our closer European nations. Platini has done a lot of talking, now is the time for him to find his balls and lead EUFA out of FIFA. Outrage is all very well, but to stay is the coward's way, and nothing will ever change. |
