Funnily enough, we returned last night from a lovely week in north Norfolk.  We are finding our house uncomfortably chilli despite wearing long trousers and a warm jumper.  Part of the problem is the street trees which were 'over' pruned by the Council a few years ago and now have very dense foliage which are cutting out the sunlight from the building.  With so much on top, I pray that we do not have major storm.

My other prayer is that the Council do not return to do further damage and make matters worse by giving all the trees the same No. 1 hair cut and leaving our streets looking like a WWI battlefield.
