| If anyone in Hounslow is interested in having electric vehicle charging points in their street then please make your interest known to Hounslow Council. I made an enquiry and was advised that the Hounslow transport planning team are in the process of signing up to the OLEV scheme, so that 75% of the capital costs for EV infrastructure can be covered by government grants. However they want this to be resident-led and so their ability to act on this will be determined by the number of enquiries they receive. If you don't have off-street parking and are interested in acquiring an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle then please let Hounslow council know by filling in the enquiry form at http://www.hounslow.gov.uk/. |
