Indeed, the fishy woman put the case for Scotland, the old-style socialist put the case for Wales, and - as usual - no-one put the case for England. Tony Blair's massively-flawed devolution arrangements are well on the way to causing the break-up of the UK, and as someone who was born British and is proud to be so, the idea that before I die I will have to choose between being English or Welsh fills me with despair.
