| Chris, if you've got flu, don't waste your money.It's a virus so you'll have to let it run it's course.There is actually a virus going around at the moment that makes you feel like you have a bad cold, but it is accompanied by nausea and vomiting as well. Again there is little you can do except take lots of fluids, and maybe some vitamin c.Viruses don't respond to antibiotics so there's no point taking them.The viral illness that is doing the rounds at the moment is a fairly severe strain and you will have it for 3-4 weeks before it starts to clear.Doctors will not be able to help you.Instead of seeing a private gp who won't be able to do anything, spend the money on a bottle of scotch and drown the bugs with hot toddies, it'll make you feel better. |
