While we're about people parking illegally, I saw in passing a boat owner (presumably) parked in Waterman's Park, Brentford today unloading planks of wood onto his boat. Is it legal to drive into the park and to unload planks in the way this plonker/planker was? This is not the first time I have seen cars driven into the park.
P.S. I phoned the traffic office at Hounslow Council once about some unrelated matter and was told that a lot of these issues are now outsourced. The man I spoke to said that he would forward the complaint and, to be fair, the problem was resolved. One can hardly expect an immediate response to incidents like the above though, when the people now dealing with such issues are based in some other part of the country. |
