By searching sites like the Land Registry, Zoopla and Mouseprice it is possible to find out what similar properties in your area have sold for. However, if there have been no recent sales then subsequent movement in property prices won't be reflected. Zoopla can project values from past prices and general house price movement, but it's not too reliable. There is a recently launched DIY online estate agency site, but for the moment the name escapes me. An alternative to DIY is to look for a fixed-fee agency - they are beginning to emerge, but not sure if any are operating in Chiswick. |
