Nick I think you may have a problem with this idea.Unless you can find a pub where the television is not in the bar, you may well find your son is not allowed to watch it.Children under the age of 14 are not allowed into the bar area ever.Children under that age can go into a pub for a meal, but to be in the bar you must be over 14.If you do find a pub showing the footie, I suggest you ring them first to see if your son will be admitted
