I tried the Land Registry site just now and the search wasn't working. From memory there definitely is some sort of covenant on the car park which restricts what Sainsbury's can charge. They tried to pull a fast one several years back and get rid of the free parking allowance but it was highlighted on this site and CC-F got on the case and they were forced to abandon the changes. As I said on the other thread, it isn't likely that Sainsbury's would draw up plans for the development of the site if they a)didn't own it and b)there was a covenant on the land which blocked development |
