It is a shame that Ebay stopped doing its "Items Wanted" type listings because that is the sort of facility you need. Charity shops can find themselves full of stuff that they can't sell because nobody knows that they have it and they generally have very little space and may not have the right connections. Have you tried a charity shop who specialize in selling music eg Oxfam? for the disc cases? There is an upcycled lamp which I would be happy to have which is a change from coasters or bird scarers. So if you can't find an artist or designer wanting to take them off your hands then you could try building your own Christmas tree and selling it or renting it to Ealing Council to make a change from their famous plastic bottle one. (Google CD Christmas trees). http://www.reuze.co.uk/cds.shtml - not sure how up to date this is. |
