This is really one of my bugbears. Vaccinations are an unarguable force for good and have prevented countless tens of thousands of deaths around the world. It's the result of completely discredited "research" and first world levels of herd immunity meaning that we are lulled into thinking that these diseases no longer present a threat, which is arrant nonsense as the recent outbreaks of measles due to the lack of take up of the MMR vaccine in the late 90's/early 00's has clearly shown. Finally "mercury" was NEVER used in vaccines, it was a compound, individual components, pretty nasty, combination thereof perfectly ok, see also Sodium Chloride. You wouldn't sprinkle sodium on your chips, but nothing wrong with a bit of salt.
