I've just read this in the W4 article "Wheelie Bin Implementation Descends into Chaos":
"Cllr Steve Curran said: “We have no plans to introduce fortnightly collections at present. Weekly collections will stay for the foreseeable future and at least until we see how effective the wheelie bin roll out has been in terms of increasing recycling and making our streets cleaner. That is our priority.”
I can assure you that in a conversation with him after the Monday meeting he confirmed that fornightly collections were a real possibility i.e. they will happen! If you read his quote carefully it's clear that they are going to happen.
