On the 10am news... on 94.9.. the Chiswick revolt was mentioned again together with a recorded comment from Steve Curran. I'm sure I heard him say that the wheelie bin was small! 10.07am: the programme continues. Beckie is now speaking. Its the overnight bags that are the problem. Why can't people put their bags out at 7.30am. Beckie said that her family, after sorting the recycling items, only had a small bag of rubbish...so why would she need a (bulbous) wheelie bin to dispose such a small amount. We have pride at the front of our house...don't want the road to start looking shabby. The WBs are going to be so unnecessary for so many people said Beckie.. John Todd had mentioned on the radio about front gardens sometimes measuring only 6 x 2 feet. |
