| it is a nice idea if everyone cleared their frontages as long as the council would collect it. I spent hours a month or so ago clearing up loads of the leaves around my road. i filled my green waste to the brim so had to start filling up some large clear plastic bags. I left them all out the front and it was incredibly obvious they were all leaves off the street but did they take the plastics bags? of course not. i complained to the council and funny enough a week later some guys came to clear the road so i just emptied them back on the road for them to sweep a second time. it was such a waste of effort. |
