"The pavement on Duke Road from number 96 upwards is completely covered with wet leaves. This is a rather dangerous situation." Most of them are recently fallen plane leaves from the large tree opposite. They are rather less dangerous in my view than the rotting leaf mulch in several places nearer the High Road. I agree that in an ideal world it would be good if all residents could clear their frontages. Meanwhile, try crossing the road if the leaves have blown on to your side. |
