| I did see a machine on CHR at the beginning of the week but to be honest, it would have been better to use a team of sweepers with brooms. I work in Belmont Road and we are often disturbed by noisy leaf blowers which as just as ineffective. I actually saw a man spend 15 minutes blowing leaves into a pile on Turnham Green; he then left and the wind just scattered them again. Many of the side streets are now a slick of compacted wet leaves. Fraser Street is particularly bad. |
