I use a compost bin in my garden and it is a very bad idea to put meat products in them as it attracts rodents etc. I live in a street with wide front gardens but many of the properties are flats and lots of rubbish left outside attracts foxes etc. I got the wheelie bin as it stays put when it is windy and our local squirrels cannot undo the top and leave the bin open for the foxes to tip over. You asked wheelie bin lovers to reply telling you why they loved their wheelie bin there was no sense you wished to have a go about our presumed insensitivity to those with no space to store a wheelie bin. As it happens I am quite aware of how difficult it is to get people to dispose of their rubbish so it is safe for others as I am a wheelchair user and hate wheeling through other peoples fat and bones and old potato skins when their bags get ripped up |
