| This morning at 09:03 I was sitting in my car at the SCR junction with the A4.I was on the north bound carriageway, sitting stationary waiting for the lights to change, and there was approx 6 cars in front of me. I glanced in my mirror and saw a man on a cycle riding along the outside of the traffic queue.As the cyclist passed me, he swopped carriageways and started riding northbound along the southbound carriageway.I assumed he was going to jump up on the pavement, but he did nothing of the sort. He rode straight across the red light on the wrong side of the road, straight across fast moving Heathrow bound traffic.He then made an illegal right hand turn onto the Eastbound carriageway of the A4 and then jumped thetraffic light at the pedestrian crossing, by which time had turned red along with the main A4 lights. In all that time he never slowed down.I can honestly say I have never seen anything as bloody stupid as this.This man should be banned from ever going near a cycle again.By the way he was riding, it was obvious this was not the first time he had done this.Does he not realise that if he mis-judges a car's speed on the A4, it will be curtains for him I do hope the usual suspects don't start their usual whinging about car drivers etc.This is not directed at cyclists in general.This is directed solely at this one unbeleivable idiot who, again was dressed in yellow.I am seriously considering reporting this idiot to the police hoping they can catch him doing it again one morning.he obviously does this regularly.Hoprfully, if they can catch him at it, he may just see sense, and that might just save his life. |
