| Last Monday at about midday my step daughter stopped her car at a red light outside IKEA on the North Circular only to be smashed into by a (thankfully) much smaller Astra, travelling at, by his own admission 30mph. She was taken by ambulance to of all places St Marys hospital in Paddington (one hour journey?) where she then had to wait another 4 hours to be seen by anyone. This after suffering a severe blow to her head , being sick, and probably concussed. So 4 hours wait on a Monday afternoon. Goodness knows what the waiting time will be when it's a busy time of the week. Thanks very much whoever was responsible for closing the A&E departments. |
