Unlikely, but possible.The police use a hand held 'battering ram' to open locked doors quickly.This delivers a 25LB lump of metal directly onto the lock smashing the lock through the weaker wooden door frame.I suppose it's possible the hinges would give way, but it's highly unlikely.The door and frame would have to be completely rotten for this to happen.and I don't think there are any houses in Park Road in this state of decay. |
