| I have absolutely nothing against charity fundraising events having worked for several charities myself but I asked specifically about people's experience of Oxjam. I believe that there were seven venues and one could obtain an "access all areas" armband for £13. Therefore I would have been more than a little miffed if I had turned up and those manning the doors had demanded (and I do mean demanded) more than about, say, £3/4 just for entry to my local. This would have been the amount I would have offered as a voluntary donation to Oxfam. |
