Thanks everyone, got a few funny replies to my 'Dating a Gibson' thread on Pistonhead Forum. I didnt help with phrases like 'stripping it' and 'changing pick-ups' I've found an expert who's definitely dated it 1968. which is great because my main concern, when I couldnt find its serial number on the Gibson site, was that I'd been playing a very nice copy for 40 years. |
