It's very easy to sex a spider - look out for the testicles! Spiders have two appendages called pedipalps at the front of their body that look like short legs. If you see bulbs on the end, a bit like the protection on the end of a kirby grip, you will be looking at testicles and thus you see a male. They are very obvious, even on a "money" spider. It's often the males that are most visible as they will be ranging around looking for a mate. |
