I did a quick Google and there's a massive amount of negative comment on this rather nasty food additive which is solely to prolong the shelf life of breads and cereals, see below link:- http://preventdisease.com/images13/azodic2s.jpg Seemingly Subway are looking into it, but after some 7 months are they still using Azodicarbonamide in their bread - why ? Especially when research seems to strongly suggest the negative health issues of ingesting this chemical. Perhaps all fast food outlets and their suppliers should cease using this nasty additive, but it is the likes of Subway and McDonalds who have the 'muscle' to push this through and be responsible food retailers, sadly it appears that P&L is more important than potential health risks to their customers. |
