Ever so slightly disingenuous comment here - although the headline of the article itself is just as bad. Two very important things to note about this article. 1] "Subway has recently said they were in the process of removing a chemical in the bread that is found in yoga mats" 2] "...basically all other bread baking companies do it as well. It is common to find this chemical in loaves of bread from the grocery store and sandwich buns from practically all fast food chain restaurants." So, [1] Subway are planning to stop using it and [2] It's in all bread! Perhaps this paints Subway in a slightly different light? The article could probably just as easily have said "Waitrose/M&S/McDonalds Bread Contains Chemical Found in Yoga Mats" Certainly not saying Subway is the best food you're going to get, but 'selective' editing is never good. |
