Yet more street furniture - flashing lights and rumble strips.  God forbid. Hartington Rd used to be such a lovely street, now there's an overkill of traffic islands, all with lights - I think from the A316 looking along Hartington Road you can count in excess of 10 of these lit-up keep-lefts and the accompanying tall lights above them adds yet more clutter.  The mini roundabout by Kinnaird Avenue is not needed - it's totally ignored, no one drives around it, for a start there not enough room to do so.   It's not so easy to race along Hartington Road dodging in and out around the numerous traffic islands, between parked cars, cycling lanes and round the mini roundabouts, 30 mph rarely, usually closer to 20mph  - enough's enough, no more lumps, bumps and lights please, it's not a heavily pedestrianised road either.  The dog walkers seem to stick to one side and don't go wandering across.
