I think you are being generous to LBH by suggesting they 'probably' regularly assess Thames Road. Thames Road is parked on both sides, resulting in a lack of visibility for pedestrians. On many occasions I have had to jump back when trying to cross between cars, to avoid vehicles travelling way too fast for the conditions.
LBH has a significant amount of s106 cash which needs to be spent to avoid it being returned to developers. They need to use a little of that money to apply the 20mph limit along Thames Road and Hartington Road. Simple rumble strips at the start of the roads and at regular intervals, with a couple of flashing speed warnings would deter speeding.
