| This article seems a bit confusing, as maybe was the actual case. What we're told is that this care leaver was being offered somewhere to live, yet reckoned he couldn't afford it, despite us being told his rent would be covered by Universal Credit. The stock picture used to illustrate the story doesn't help as it suggests he's a university student, which he might not be, for that would raise other issues over student loans and suggest different accommodation arrangements. |
