| Simon, I was witness to a tea break at Twickenham, 1986- England vs Ireland. The weather was so cold my orange squash was just a block of ice at half time and for the first time ever seen at the national stadium, the referee took the players off the field for 10 minutes for a warm cuppa. Rugby of course was an amateur game in those days and players made do with a slice of orange and a good talking-to from their captain, all over in five minutes. |
