| Don't bother with a cattery. Moving a cat is the worst thing you can do for their wellbeing. Their little world falls apart. When moved they need to be kept in one room for the first week with windows and doors tightly shut then inside for a further month again with windows and doors tightly shut or they'll escape. They're not bored, they're upset at being moved. Putting them in a cattery means yet ANOTHER move and they'll be even more depressed. Have you got a laser pointer toy? That'll keep them occupied. It's a pity you couldn't have left them at home and someone feed them once a day with an autofeeder set for 12 hours later with dry food. Even with builders there, would have been better than moving them. Sorry to be blunt. |
