The original Chiswick Card didn't have the name of the person it was issued to, just a serial number. The more recently introduced digital one that you can put on your phone does have your name on. I'm sure the intention when Bridget and co. first introduced the Chiswick Card was that it was individually issued and not necessarily transferable. I guess if the manager discovers that business and income has fallen since they stopped offering a chiswick card discount, he can always re-instate it. |
