| Have all the people who submitted objections to the above been notified that the 'developer' is appealing to the Secretary of State. Due largely to the efforts of those who analysed the proposal and submitted a detailed objection to LBH, the 'development' was turned down. And rightly so. Overly dense, some units would have no natural light, increased noise in the alleyway, risk of traffic chaos (albeit residents would not be allowed to park there, but households inevitably generate traffic [workmen, parcel and food deliveries]. It seems that the developer has appealed to the Secretary of State. I fear that LBH's decision will be overturned and the local authority will be left paying the costs of the appeal. Are those who submitted objections to LBH in the first place willing to go that extra mile, and resubmit/enlarge upon the initial objections? |
