| The lightly wooded and delightfully overgrown spinny home to countless insects and other creatures that form the bottom of the food chain that was destroyed to be used as the construction base the walkway (don't get me going on that again) has started to be 'landscaped'. What a shocker! The main area of ground has been compacted solid, the borders and 'feature' rusty iron ringed circles have had unattractive stones tipped on them then, to cap it all, two to three metre high iron girders have been upended to form only God knows what as a centrepiece. However, before you rush to wander around it, hold on. It's all fenced in, probably indefinitely, whilst they finish off their soulless abomination. On a more positive note the honeycomb plastic parking bays laid over attractive grass verges now appear to be free to park on at weekends as all the charge notices have gone. |
