| With it being Post Office policy to withdraw from and sell off their traditional stand-alone locations - kerching, kerching! - the alternative is to 'cuckoo' them in other retail outlets. Their favourite location was at the back of WH Smiths, but when Smiths went into administration and laughably become TG Jones, who in turn are considering closures, that plan must be in doubt. Of the two suggested Chiswick locations, Robert Dyas in the middle of the High Road with established delivery facilities at the back, would seem preferable to a converted garage in a cul de sac off TGT. Dyas too are losing money at the moment, but being a national company, it could be that their Dragon's Den owner might want to establish a wider relationship with the Post Office to add to their existing shared location in the Strand. |
