Never ceases to surprise many of us, that there seems to be varying standards of behaviour expected from members of the public and elected members of LBH. Now it seems Cllr. Rehman has just been told he's been a naughty boy, by parking in a disabled parking bay and using the council's resources, and failing to complete his Register of Interests. Surely inappropriate usage of the council's resources for political purposes also applies to the veritable overload of election videos by candidates, as pointed out by both Theo Dennison and Peter Thompson? And try being a member of the public and just getting a ticking off if caught in a disabled parking spot by parking enforcement bods. Yet, it seems that this person may still be allowed to be a candidate next month. What is the Labour party thinking these days? That's if any thinking goes on at all. Surely we should be able to expect people elected to these offices lead by example, and understand the privilege they have been granted, sadly that does not seem to be the case. We're all human, and don't get it right all of the time, but this lot have to be some of the worst examples ever in local public life?
