| The lack of checking what is actually built is also a problem. Too many people with an interest in the building of and alteration of buildings are more interested in doing this as cheaply as possible and making as many cost cuts as possible rather than following the regulations and best practice. There is another problem in that the regulations regarding the sludge that is spread on fields are not up to date. There is more information here - all those chemicals that we use - all those medications we take - can often be found still in that sludge when it is spread. Please don't ever deliberately flush unused medication down the loo/drain - take it to a pharmacy for disposal. https://wickedleeks.riverford.co.uk/news/the-agtivist/the-agtivist-investigates-the-use-of-contaminated-sewage-sludge-as-fertiliser-on-uk-farms/ |
