| Have just been applying to renew my resident parking permit under the new Band system and immediately hit a problem. As the owner of an electric car I should be Band 1 and pay the lowest tariff of £60. But instead I was told I was liable to pay £140 - which is Band 7 for a car with very high emissions. Nothing I could do to alter this online and no sign of a phone number to speak to a human nor even an email address. I eventually found an email address online and wrote in only to get an automatic reponse that it would take about 10 working days. Anybody else hit this problem? Any people being charged with the wrong Band tariff? (up or down) |
