On the one hand you are saying that you aren't sure where the 65 was made but on the other hand you are concluding that Chinese buses are crap. Sorry, but this makes little sense.

You have made a number of incorrect assumptions. Firstly, TfL doesn't buy buses, the bus company does. They will choose Chinese manufacturers because they will be at least £100,000 cheaper than the British (or Irish) equivalent. However, all of the buses will be manufactured to British designs and some of the final assembly, particularly for BYD-ADL (a joint venture with Alexander Dennis) will be done in either Falkirk or Coventry.

The battery unit even for a WrightBus will be Chinese made anyway so, in a sense all electric buses are 'Chinese crap'.
